There are technically a few more weeks of summer left, but let's face it -- Labor Day is when the party really ends. Thankfully, these are the best days of the year; it's warm and sunny, but there's a delicious cool breeze to take the edge off.
We celebrated by going out in the town. What else is there to do but go outside? It was a day for swan boats, frog ponds and ducklings.
Days like these almost make up for our dreary March. (Almost.) I put any thoughts of ice melt and dark days (and sometimes weeks!) away and focused on our beautiful today.
It was just what I needed. How was your labor day?
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'm ready for fall. Come on leaves, rain down on me!
