It's another baby boy...blog!

Yes, it's true! I'm having another boy...but this time, it's a blog and not a human baby:

Let's all say it together...phew!

My new blog is called The Frog and Snail Society -- that's the fancy version of the name, but you can just call it the Frog & Snail since we're friends. There's no need to be so formal, you know?

It's a lifestyle blog for moms and dads and uncles and aunts and everyone who has a boy in their life. I started it because I got tired of people feeling sorry for me when they hear I have all boys. Boys are delightful! They do have cute stuff! No, I'm not sad that they're all boys! And mothers of boys should stick together (hence the "Society" part of the name.)

The blog is a little bit of design and shopping, a little bit of advice, tips and tricks, some stories and interviews -- and eventually I hope it grows into a community where parents (and friends) of boys can help each other out.

But first I'm planting the seed and taking it one day at a time.

The idea for the blog just came to me the other day. I knew exactly what it was going to look like and what it would be about, so I rather mysteriously asked Twitter if I should go ahead, and Twitter said yes.

So I did.

I hope you guys will take a look around. Would you do that for me? And when you do, will you tell me what you think? If you like it, would you be a dear and tell your friends about it?

You can keep up with the Frog & Snail in many ways. You can bookmark it, or subscribe by RSS or email, or you can follow on Twitter or you can "Like" us on Facebook

Or you can do them all. It's not necessary, but it would be awfully nice of you.

Thanks so much for taking a look!

--------------

On a housekeeping note for this blog, I'm moving to Wordpress in the next few days, so if things look funky please be patient. And if you read on a feed reader, and you don't hear from me in a week or so, would you mind checking in in person just to make sure the feed didn't break while everything was moved? (You can always follow me on Twitter if you don't want to lose touch. I'm always there. Ask anyone.)

So many changes. I'm a bit nervous, but very very excited.
