It's Going to be a Splendid Summer!

When my friend Christine from Boston Mamas asked if I wanted to help her and the lovely Audrey of Mom Generations host an event for Splendid at their store in Chestnut Hill, it took me exactly a second to say YES. Splendid makes the best, softest, t shirts around and I love those girls, so it was a no-brainer to work with them. Add the fact that I love shopping and we were promised cupcakes and it's no surprise that I signed up right away.

(I never claimed to be a fool, you guys. I know a good time when I see it.)

We were joined by friends and neighbors and readers for a great sale and ahd fun shopping together while the kids did crafts and ate cupcakes. (Oh, who am I kidding...I ate cupcakes as well.)

That afternoon, I learned a very important lesson -- never say never. I thought I wasn't the "jumpsuit wearing kind" whatever that means. Take a look at this picture, and tell me: Was I right?

No, I was not.

As you can see, I chose the cowl neck jumpsuit and it is my favorite thing in the world right now because it's super soft and feels like PJs, but looks way more respectable. I even wore it for diner out with friends later that night, such was the power of the romper. As you can tell, Christine couldn't resist one either! (Hers is here.)

As a co-host I was compensated by Splendid for my time.
