Existentialism

 Existentialism

Existentialism was a very interesting unit in my opinion. We went through more than one book in this unit. We read a book called “No Exit” by Jean Paul Sartre. This book was about three people who are supposedly damned to hell. Their punishment in the book is to be locked in a room with each other for eternity.

I personally did not like this book for many reasons, it was very uncomfortable. We also read a book called “The Stranger” not to confuse that with the Billy Joel song, (which is one of my favorite songs as of now). This book was written by Albert Camus, and it is about a man who committed a murder and went to jail. There is obviously other stuff in the book where the main character falls in love. I liked this book. It was very entertaining.
