This is a book about a group of boys who survived a plane crash. They were stranded on an Island and they had to survive. This book highlights how the kids form groups and leaders, how they start a fire on the top of a mountain in hopes of people seeing it and getting rescued, And how they eventually go crazy, they murder each other, and start acting very uncivilized, for example, some of the boys start to throw pig blood on each other, other times the people would ululate. The main character, who is named Ralph, almost got murdered but at the end of the book, he escapes and gets rescued by a boat who saw their smoke signal.
